Workflows & calculations

Follow the movement of cash, chips, table fills, credits, player points and operational results, with the formulas and timing rules explained.

Player result reconciliation

Why the two player totals should agree

Everest calculates the player’s cash result from cashier transactions and table dropbox entries. It calculates the gaming-session result from chip movements and dropbox entries. The two results should be equal when every transaction is recorded completely and on time.

PLAYER · CASH RESULTCash Out − Cash In − Dropbox In
+ Credit Out − Credit In

Cash In / Out and Credit In / Out come from the cash desk; Dropbox In comes from the table.

PLAYER · GAMING SESSION RESULTChips Out − Chips In
+ Dropbox In

Chips In / Out and Dropbox In are recorded for gaming sessions and tables.

Table count

Hourly and end-of-day calculations

Table Tracking receives opening float, check float, confirmed fills and credits, and dropbox totals from the Inspector workflow.

HOURLY · CURRENT RESULTCurrent Check Float − Open Float
− Current Total Fills
+ Current Total Credits
+ Current Total Dropbox

Opener / Closer values are not used in the hourly current-count calculation. Enter the current hour’s check float no later than five minutes after the next hour begins.

GAMING DAY · TOTAL RESULTLast Check Float − Open Float
− Total Fills + Total Credits
+ Total Dropbox

The total uses the last check float of the day. The table currency is set in Cash Desk and may be changed before the first table opening of the gaming day.

Cash desk & table workflow

How a fill or credit reaches the table

  1. RequestThe Inspector requests a fill or credit at the table.
  2. Cashier processingThe request is transferred to Cash Desk for the cashier to handle.
  3. DeliveryFor a fill, the cashier sends chips. For a credit, the cashier sends an empty chip box.
  4. ConfirmationThe Inspector confirms receipt or returned chips; the confirmed entry appears in Table Tracking.

Currency and value exchange

Cash Desk can sell chips of different currencies using another accepted currency or deposit funds, sell TITO tickets using a currency, and exchange currency. A table sells chips only in its configured currency. Chips or TITO tickets can be exchanged into another currency, including a transfer to the guest’s deposit.

Points & bonus rules

How points and rewards are organized

The system has one points account that records the source of points. Points can be awarded for gaming activity using configured rules based on theoretical loss and player status, for rolling-program participation, or manually by management. Points use the casino’s internal currency and can pay for services offered by the casino.

Points Accounting supports credits and debits with predefined references, expiry deductions by point category and automatic reassignment of personal discounts when a player status changes. Promotions use configured eligibility rules such as amount, hall or game. The Bonus System separately supports optional additional bets for prizes; jackpot count and contribution / payout percentages are configured in Manager.
