Overview

What this module does

Ticket-in / ticket-out lets a player deposit value to a supported machine or receive a payout ticket without moving cash or coins through every machine transaction.

The materials describe cash, cashless and deposit ticket-in and ticket-out, handpays and promotional tickets. A ticket can be validated during payment processing, adding a control to redemption. The ticket workflow is intended to make pay-in and pay-out convenient and faster, reduce manual handling errors and reduce the amount of cash that must be collected from machine stackers. Exact flows depend on connected machine and payment configuration.

Key functions
  • Ticket-in deposits to connected machines
  • Ticket-out payouts and redemption
  • Cash, cashless and deposit flows
  • Handpays and promotional ticketing
  • Ticket validation during payment processing
  • Less cash handling at supported machines
Connected workflow

How it fits into Everest

Tickets connect the slot floor with the cash desk. The cashier can issue or redeem value; the slot system records ticket activity when the machine interface provides it, and the relevant transactions become available for operational review.
